  • "Why is my baby crying?"

    You and your baby are just getting to know each other, and it can be difficult to know exactly what your baby is trying to communicate to you when crying. Common reasons include: tiredness, hunger, they're overwhelmed, uncomfortable, transitioning between sleep cycles or they just want to be with you (validate and make them feel heard).

    There are many feeding positions you can try and side lying is a wonderful option for women with painful perineums, sore vaginas/ bottoms or caesarean wounds. 4 out of 100 women having a vaginal birth experience a third- or fourth-degree tear. This is a great way to rest your body and take the pressure off this area.
